By amplifying narratives of resilience, migration, and environmental justice, I aim to challenge dominant narratives and create spaces for marginalized communities to be seen and heard.
The impact of my work extends from the U.S. to Latin and South America, where I document the resilience and ancestral wisdom of indigenous communities. These communities possess deep knowledge of land stewardship, sustainable practices, and living in harmony with nature. My work highlights how their teachings can guide us in addressing pressing global issues like climate change and environmental degradation. By showcasing their wisdom, I aim to show that we can learn from their experiences to foster more sustainable ways of living. The challenges faced by these communities—such as threats to their land and traditions—serve as a call to action, encouraging us to rethink our relationship with the natural world.

“By showcasing their wisdom, I aim to show that we can learn from their experiences to foster more sustainable ways of living.“

Thirteen years ago, I moved to Atlanta as a single mother, with nothing but my son and a burning desire to make an impact. I began my filmmaking journey out of deep conviction—a conviction to show the world the lives of people who are erased from the narrative. I created a YouTube channel not just to share their voices, but to ignite change, to push boundaries, and to force the world to pay attention to the invisible.
For years, my immigration status kept me confined, but it never stopped my hunger for exploration. I dove deep into the rich inner worlds of people, communities, and movements capturing their struggles, triumphs, dreams and raw humanity. I documented movements like Me Too and Voices of Undocumented People at the Supreme Court, documenting experiences that the mainstream media would sometimes ignore.
And then, I expanded—taking my storytelling to the frontlines of environmental battles, immigration, and indigenous rights. From beekeepers battling agrochemicals to communities fighting for land autonomy, I document the resilience, the beauty, and ancestral wisdom of indigenous people in Latin America and beyond. Their stories hold the keys to survival, not just for them but for all of us. These are the stories that show us how to heal the Earth and live in balance and harmony with it.
